SideQuest is a productivity and habit-building application designed to help users improve their daily routines through gamified quests and reflections.

Protecting your privacy is important to us. The SideQuest app is designed to collect and process as little personal data as possible.

SideQuest stores most information directly on the user's device. The following types of data may be processed locally within the app:

• Quest Data
  Information about quests created by the user, including titles, descriptions, duration, and progress.
• Reflection Entries
  User reflections or notes entered within the app as part of daily quest tracking.
• Mood Tracking
  Optional mood selections recorded by the user during quest completion.
• App Settings
  Preferences such as theme selection, avatar choice, reminder settings, and progress tracking.

All of this information is stored locally on the device unless the user explicitly exports or shares it.

4. Notifications

SideQuest may optionally send local notifications to remind users to complete their daily quests.

Notification permissions are requested by the operating system and can be disabled at any time in the device settings.

5. Data Sharing

SideQuest does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

The application does not include advertising networks or third-party analytics services.

6. Data Storage

All user data created within SideQuest is stored locally on the user's device.

If the app is removed from the device, the associated data may also be deleted depending on the device settings.
